Banga Maitri Sansad (BMS) was founded in 1947 by a section of Mumbai's Bengali community comprising of many prominent personalities and celebrities. Initially, BMS was established as a Socio-Cultural organisation with a vision to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Bengal embodied in its Festivals, Art, Music, Food and Attire. Since BMS became a Registered Charitable Trust in 1959, the focus has shifted to enhancing the organisation's contribution to social and charitable causes.
Our growing family of 120-odd members come from diverse backgrounds, faiths, cultures and languages - a true image of a New & United India.
